1-1

The Baggy Green came out on top this time around with a hard fought victory over SA in the second One Day International against SA...

Hell the test series was hard fought and the ODI's look like they're going to be nail biters!

How good was Bracken in this game? That over he bowled that only went for 4 (when Duminy got out) was brilliant. Methinks that's where the match was won for Australia.

Bracken, Tait and even this Harris guy - where were they during the Test series??

Tough to point fingers at anyone in this game - two good sides clashed and the Aussies came out on the top this time around.

Bit worrying to see SA dropping catches... Ponting has been dropped at least three times in the last two games and Marsh also got a lifeline today.

Disappointed to see Van Jaarsveld dropped and Parnell and Tsotsobe sitting on the sidelines again. These guys need the game experience and Steyn and Ntini are shouldering a helluva lot of work. I know I keep harping on about this point but it definately worries me...

SA fielding was shocking!
However I do agree that although they need their best players for the series to win, it wouldn't be good for Vaughn to sit on the side and be a drinks man all season long and become a forgotten man. SA has a habit of this. Dale Steyn luckily broke through it.
Building up a youngster or promising player, they screw up and then they're givin the finger.

That's the worry I get when a guy like David Warner comes in, has an impact for NSW and Australia, and hasnt made double since his 89. The cricket world wants more now! Can't place to much expectation, and Michael Hussey stated this. Was a big jump and feel a bit for the guy.

Looking forward to the SCG game.

And Nel at club cricket. Sure doing his best to show his frustration at selectors. He usually bugs me , but his antics can be very funny and entertaining. Except the 06 Gilly incident. A bit over the top.
