With the IPL due to kick off in a couple of days time, I guess the obvious question is - "What are you expecting to get out of it?"
Do you think it is going to live up to the hype of last season? Will it be the same with South African fans and not a gazillion Indian fans cheering every boundary?
Thoughts? Comments?

Hi,
Watching recorded video clippings is one way through which cricket world cup teams can improve their performance levels. The entire team can sit together and go through the video clippings of the recorded matches and find out the strengths and weakness of the opposing cricket world cup teams that are participating.

Marc buddy! I really dig your blogs because you post about what i'm thinking most of the time.
You know, this IPL season will be a bit tricky. I mean on the positive side, there are some South Africans involved in the IPL and I'm sure they will be pushed into the sides even more to draw the crowds in...maybe, who knows. I think there will be a huge crowd, yes, not as big as the Indians but that is understandable. I think it might do wonders for cricket in SA. T20 is a big game now, probably more profitable then any other format. People just love the game. SA people can look at it as a WC tournament taking place in their country. so they might come by to watch cricket, no matter who is playing.
On the flip side, I do also think as to why would people come by to watch a tournament with no domestic teams present. I think it would've been a bit more enjoyable for the crowd, if they did add the top domestic sides. Royals got beaten by Cobras the other day in a warm up. Why not add a few of the local teams? Is SA cricket crazy enough to watch these teams play? i don't know. guess we will find out. A bit double minded about it.
Lets just hope they do have a better TV production/broadcasting team this time around. I think a a fair bit of sexy dancers, and entertainment between innings would draw the crowds in?
Hhahahahaha PLEASE let the IPL source their own dancers... Our domestic ones make me cringe....
A lot of our domestic fans are intrigued by the idea of watching the IPL games... Not sure that the enthusiasm will last but we've gotta make a good run for it.
Interesting take with the comment on the domestic teams being included... makes a bit of sense and would have been for the greater good of SA cricket...
Let's see how it plays out.
You got a favourite for the tournament?
Not really a favorite for the tournament. A few teams look balanced enough though, such as, Super Kings and Royals. Deccan looked strong on paper but their balance was way off last season. Lets see who goes well this time around.
Would I bet on anyone so early? probably not. T20 is anyone's game and I mean ANYONE'S!
